The Snug
The Snug is an apartment in Bowness. First floor. It's for two people. One bedroom with a kingsize bed, one bathroom, and an open living space with a kitchen.
It's a three star place. That means it's clean and everything works, but it's not a show home. It's comfortable.
Location is the main thing. You're about a five minute walk from the centre of Bowness and the lake shore. It’s handy. Bowness is busy, especially in season. Lots of shops, cafes, and places to eat. Windermere town is up the hill, about a fifteen minute walk. More shops there, and a few good independent places.
You're right on the edge of everything for walking. You can start a footpath from the door. For a proper walk, the fells are a short drive away. There’s also boat trips from Bowness jetty, which is straightforward.
Within half an hour's drive you've got Ambleside, Grasmere, and Coniston. All worth a visit. The roads can be slow in summer.
For parking, there's one space on site. There's bike storage if you need it. WiFi and TV are included. All bedding and towels are provided. No pets, I'm afraid.
