Bownessy's Retreat
Bownessy's Retreat is a ground floor apartment in Bowness. It's one of two apartments in the same building. The other one, Belle View, is the one upstairs with the balcony.
It sleeps two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has everything you need. Because it's all on the ground floor, there are no stairs to worry about inside.
The location is the main thing. It's about a two-minute walk to the main shops and cafes in Bowness. The lake shore at Bowness Bay is about five minutes away on foot.
Things are close by. There's a shop, a pub, and restaurants about 200 yards away. You can easily pop out for milk or a meal.
The apartment is open plan. It's got a dishwasher, a TV, and WiFi. The shower is a walk-in one. Parking is on site, which is useful in Bowness. Bedding and towels are included.
For things to do, you're right in the middle of it. You can get the lake steamers from Bowness Bay. For walks, you're on the edge of the fells. Towns like Ambleside are a short drive away.
