1 West View is an apartment in Ambleside. It's on the ground and lower ground floor of one of the big old stone houses. It's right in the middle of the village.
It's a 4 Star place, which means it's been done up nicely. There's a new kitchen as of last year. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one each.
Being ground floor is handy for anyone who finds stairs difficult, but it's worth noting the living area is up a few internal steps from the front door. The main bedroom is on the lower ground floor.
You're a couple of minutes' walk from the shops and pubs. It looks out over the bowling green and you can see Loughrigg Fell from the windows.
For getting out, you can walk straight from the door onto the fells, which is the main point of being here. The lake at Waterhead is about a ten-minute walk.
Keswick is about half an hour's drive away. You can get to Windermere town, Grasmere, or Coniston Water all within twenty minutes or so.
It's got the things you'd expect: parking, wifi, a washing machine, a cot. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
