It's 1 West View in Ambleside. It's a ground floor and lower ground floor apartment in a big old stone house. It's centrally located, so you can walk to all the shops and pubs in a couple of minutes.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's a 4 Star property, so it's done to a good standard. New kitchen went in last year. It feels spacious and it's been renovated properly.
The main room looks out over the bowling green and the recreation ground. You get a view of Loughrigg Fell from there. It's a nice aspect.
You've got parking on site. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. No pets, sorry.
For walks, you're right in the middle of it. The fells are on the doorstep. Lake District National Park has all the walking route information. For properties and things to do, National Trust Lake District covers a lot. Grasmere is about ten minutes' drive. Windermere and the lake are just down the road.
