Dale View is a detached cottage in Little Langdale. It sleeps eight people. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. One of the bedrooms is in a separate building next to the main house, which gives a bit of privacy if you want it. It's a five star place, so it's comfortable and well finished.
The cottage has views of the Langdale Pikes from every window. There's a woodburning stove in the living room and a freestanding bath in one of the bathrooms. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can bring up to two.
There's a local pub a short walk away. For shopping, Ambleside is the nearest proper town, about a ten minute drive. It has supermarkets and cafes. The cottage is right in the walking country. You can start a walk from the door.
You're at the bottom of Wrynose Pass and Hardknott Pass here. They are very steep, single-track roads, so drive carefully if you go that way. Cathedral Quarry is nearby and worth a look. The National Cycle Route 37 goes through the valley if you're bringing bikes.
Within about thirty minutes' drive you can get to Coniston Water, Tarn Hows, and Grasmere. Windermere is a bit further, maybe forty minutes depending on traffic.
Facilities wise: it's got parking, a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
