Copper View is a bungalow on the edge of Coniston village. It's detached, so no one attached to you. The main thing about it is the view from the front. You look straight out over the fields to the fells. It's a good one.
It's been done up recently, so everything feels fresh. Two bedrooms and, handy that, two bathrooms. One's an en-suite. It sleeps four, so it's really for two couples or a small family. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well equipped.
You can walk into the village centre in a few minutes. There's a shop about a hundred yards away for basics. A couple of pubs and places to eat are just a bit further. The one on the corner does food.
You're right in the middle of the Lakes here. Hawkshead and Ambleside are a short drive. Hill Top Farm, where Beatrix Potter lived, is in Near Sawrey, about ten minutes by car. For walking, you can start right from the door. The Old Man of Coniston is the big one behind the village.
For facilities, you've got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. There's a patio with a barbecue. All bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
