Copper View
Copper View is a bungalow in Coniston. It's detached, so no one next door. You get the patio and garden to yourselves. The main thing is the view from the lounge. It looks straight out at the fells.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and each has its own bathroom. One's an en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up recently, so everything feels fresh and works properly. Being a bungalow, there are no stairs to worry about.
You can walk into the village centre in a few minutes. There are a couple of shops, pubs, and cafes. The nearest pub is about 120 yards away.
You're right in the middle of the Lakes here. Hawkshead is about ten minutes by car. Ambleside is maybe twenty minutes. If you're a Beatrix Potter fan, Hill Top Farm in Near Sawrey is close by.
For walking, you're at the foot of Coniston Old Man. The lake is a five minute drive or a twenty minute walk from the village. You can hire boats there.
Facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV with satellite, and WiFi. There's parking for two cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
