Days Bank is a stone cottage on a quiet lane just outside Coniston.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms. You go upstairs to the main bedroom, and there's another set of stairs up from there to a mezzanine level that has a roll-top bath in it. The bathroom is a shower cubicle in the other bedroom. It's private, but you have to go through that room to get to it.
There's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has a Belfast sink and things like a dishwasher and washing machine.
The front garden is small and has a view towards Coniston Water and Grizedale Forest. There's a little patio and a shed out the back. You can park on Old Furness Road.
It's a few minutes walk into Coniston village. There's a shop and a pub about two hundred yards away. The lake is a short walk in the other direction.
If you want to get out on Windermere, you can drive to Hawkshead and get the ferry across.
