Mulberry is an apartment up on Hawkshead Hill. It's part of the Yewfield Estate, so you're surrounded by about 80 acres of their land, mostly woods and meadows. The views are good.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a super kingsize bed, one bathroom. The bed and the sofa are in the same open plan room. There's a proper kitchen area and bifold doors that open out onto a deck. The bathroom has both a bath and a walk-in shower.
The place has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after. Being on the first floor, you do have to go up a flight of external stairs to get in.
You can walk straight from the door onto the estate paths. It's about a mile down into Hawkshead village on foot. By car, Coniston Water and Windermere are both about ten minutes away. Grizedale Forest is very close for cycling. For a shorter stroll, Tarn Hows is beautiful.
If you're here without a car, be aware the nearest pub is a mile and a half away down in Hawkshead. There's a vegetarian restaurant here on the estate.
You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside, WiFi, and a TV.
