Ghyllside 3
Ghyllside 3 is in Ambleside. It's a bungalow, so most things are on one level. There's a quiet cul-de-sac at the front, and the back garden is enclosed.
It sleeps six in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean without being too modern.
The house is on the slope just below Stockghyll Falls. It’s a short walk uphill to get to the park and the waterfalls. It’s a good spot for that. The views from the front are towards the fells on the other side of the valley.
Ambleside village centre is a walk downhill. All the shops and cafes are there. There's a pub nearby.
For walks, you can go straight up the back towards Wansfell Pike, or head into town and pick up paths from there. Grasmere is about ten minutes by car, and Windermere town is maybe fifteen. Keswick is under half an hour.
Inside, there's a wood burning stove, which is nice. Parking for one car on the drive. The garden has a patio. We allow up to two dogs.
It has the normal things: WiFi, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding is included, and we can provide a cot.
