Badgers Rake 7
Badgers Rake 7 is a one bedroom flat in Ambleside. It sleeps two. It's on the ground floor and has its own patio doors that open onto a shared garden. The garden's quite big and the view from it looks straight over the fells, which is nice.
It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well equipped. There's leather furniture, a dining table, and the kitchen has what you need. It's warm, which is good because it can be chilly up here even in summer.
The location is the main thing. You're above the village, so you get the views and the quiet, but it's only a ten minute walk down into Ambleside centre for shops and pubs. Or you can just walk straight out the front gate up onto Wansfell. You don't need to get in the car.
It's pet friendly. One well-behaved dog is allowed. There's parking right outside the flat.

You're right in the Lake District National Park. For walking ideas or to book car parks for the busier spots, Lake District National Park is the site to use. For local history and houses like Wray Castle, National Trust Lake District is useful.
