Cornerstones
Cornerstones is on Wansfell Road in Ambleside. It's a Victorian terrace house, end of row. The place sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which helps when you've got a full house.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up inside. There are slate floors in the hallway and a wood burning stove in the living room. It's not a huge cottage, but it's comfortable.
The location is the main thing. You're a two-minute walk from the centre of Ambleside. That means you can pop out for milk or stop at a pub without moving the car. The back garden is enclosed and private. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
For facilities, it's got what you'd expect: wifi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
You're right in the middle of everything here. Walks start from the door. For a good one, Wansfell Pike is just up the road. For a longer day, you can drive to Langdale or Hawkshead in about ten minutes. Windermere is a ten-minute drive if you want a boat trip.
