Deja Vu
Deja Vu is in Bowness on Windermere. It's a two-bedroom cottage that sleeps four. It’s got a 4 Star rating.
It’s a five-minute walk from the lake. The path down is a bit steep coming back up, so you’ll know about it after a long walk. The high street is about the same distance the other way. You’re in the middle of everything.
There’s one bathroom. It has a shower. Parking is on-site, which is useful here. The kitchen has a dishwasher. We keep a cot, high chair and a stairgate there if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.
The lake is the main thing here. You can get on the steamers from Bowness pier, or hire a rowing boat. For a good walk, Orrest Head is close. It’s a short, sharp climb for a famous view over Windermere.
Within half an hour’s drive you’ve got Grasmere, Ambleside, and the start of the Langdale valley. Coniston Water is about 20 minutes south. If you’re going out, it’s worth checking opening times for things like the World of Beatrix Potter or the Windermere Jetty Museum beforehand.
