Barker Knott Farm Cottage
This is Barker Knott Farm Cottage. It's a part of a 16th century farmhouse we've made separate. It's ground floor only. You get the whole place to yourselves.
We're a working farm. Beef and sheep. It's quiet out here. The views over the fields are good.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The ceilings are low in some places. There are old beams. That's just how it is.
You're about a mile and a half from Bowness and Windermere. You can walk to a pub from here, it takes about ten minutes. There's another shop a bit further on. Bowness has the lake steamers and places to eat.
The cottage has a woodburning stove, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. No pets, sorry.
Windermere Golf Club is two miles away. For the fells, you drive a bit further. Ambleside is about four miles. Grasmere is maybe seven.
