Woodys
Woodys is in Bowness on Windermere. It's a first and second floor flat. You go in through a shared hallway and then up your own private staircase.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There are two doubles on the first floor. One has an en-suite bathroom with a bath. Up another flight of stairs is a twin room. There's a separate shower room too.
The main living space is open plan, with the kitchen, dining area, and sitting room all together. It's a good size. The bay window lets in a lot of light. There's a TV and a fireplace. The kitchen is modern and has what you need, including a dishwasher and a washing machine.
The location is the main thing. It's a five-minute walk into the centre of Bowness. You've got all the shops, cafes, pubs, and restaurants there. The World of Beatrix Potter is there if you've got kids interested. The pier for the Windermere lake cruises is just down the hill. You can get a boat to Ambleside or Lakeside from there.
If you're driving, there's on-site parking for one car.
From Lakeside you can visit the aquarium. Brockhole, the Lake District Visitor Centre, is a short drive away. They have activities like archery and tree trekking. For walking, you're right in the middle of it. The lakes, fells, and towns like Ambleside and Grasmere are all within about a thirty minute drive.
It's got a 3 Star rating. It means it's comfortable and clean. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets allowed.
