Woodys
Woodys is in Bowness on Windermere. It's a first and second floor apartment. You get your own private staircase up from the shared hall.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom, which is an en-suite off the main bedroom. It has a bath. The other two bedrooms are a double and a twin. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and has what you need, but it's not high-end.
The living room has a large bay window, so it gets a lot of light. There's a TV and a fire. The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher. There's a washing machine too. Bedding and towels are included, and we've got a cot and highchair if you need them.
You can park on site.
The best thing is the location. It's a short walk into the centre of Bowness. All the shops, pubs, and cafes are there. The World of Beatrix Potter is in the village. You can get the Windermere lake cruises from there too, which go to Ambleside and Lakeside.
If you drive, you can get to a lot of the Lake District within half an hour. Ambleside and Windermere town are close. For walks, the fells around Troutbeck and the Kentmere valley are nearby. You can hire boats on the lake. The Lakes Aquarium is at Lakeside.
