Printers Cottage

Printers Cottage is in Ambleside. It's an end of terrace cottage in a small courtyard. It's about 100 yards from the main street, so you're right in the middle of things.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. It's not huge, but it's fine for a small group. There's a parking space, which is useful in Ambleside.

The living space is open plan. The kitchen has what you need. There’s a small porch for boots and coats. The stairs are fairly steep, just so you know.

You can walk to everything. The pub is 100 yards away. Shops are 200 yards. Lake Windermere is about half a mile for the boat trips. You can start walks from the door.

For other things to do, you’re in a good spot. Grasmere, Rydal Water, and the main fells are all within a 30 minute drive. The Lake District National Park site has walking routes and information. National Trust Lake District covers their properties nearby, like Wray Castle.
