Weavers
This is Weavers in Grasmere. It's an apartment in what used to be part of an old wool mill. It's on two floors, first and second.
The main room is open plan, with the kitchen and living area together. It's all been done up recently, so everything works and it's comfortable. There's a big window at one end looking out towards the lake and the fells. The view is good.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms. The main one has a kingsize bed and the same big window with the view. The second room has twin beds. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower.
It sleeps four. It's got a 4 Star rating. No pets, I'm afraid.
The location is quiet but you're right in the village. You park your car in the private space and that's it, you can walk everywhere. The main shop, pubs, and the gingerbread shop are all a couple of hundred yards away.
You can walk straight out from the door. Silver How is right there. The Fairfield Horseshoe starts close by. For something famous, Wordsworth's Dove Cottage is in the village.
If you drive, Ambleside is about ten minutes south. Keswick is maybe twenty-five minutes north on the A591. The coast at St Bees is about an hour.
Facilities: it has WiFi, a TV, dishwasher, and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's the on-site parking.
