Angle Tarn Cottage is in Ambleside. It's semi-detached and has been recently renovated. You get parking for two cars.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One is an en-suite off the master bedroom downstairs. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well kitted out.
The living space is upstairs. They've done that for the views, which are out towards Coniston. You can see Wetherlam from the windows. There's a wood burner in the living area.
The garden is terraced on different levels. There are two patio areas and a lockable shed if you've brought bikes. You go in the front door, but there's a step. You can use the back door into the kitchen if that's easier.
Out the back gate, you're straight onto paths into the woods and up into the fells. There's a shop and a pub about five minutes' walk away.
Ambleside itself has restaurants and things. Windermere and Grasmere are a short drive away. For wider plans, the Lake District National Park site is useful, and the National Trust in the Lake District has information on their local places.
Inside, it's got the things you'd expect: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
