Angle Tarn Cottage
Angle Tarn Cottage is a semi-detached place in Ambleside. It's up a hill so you get a pretty good view.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. It’s been renovated, so everything works and it’s comfortable. It's set up upside-down, which means the living room and kitchen are upstairs to make the most of the view. You look out towards Coniston.
The stairs inside are fine, modern ones. To get to the front door there's a step, but you can come in the back way through the kitchen if that's easier. The garden is on different levels, with a couple of patio areas. There’s parking for two cars.
Ambleside centre is a walk down the hill. There's a way via Blue Hill Road that’s less steep. You’ve got pubs, shops, and restaurants about 500 yards away. There's a gate at the back of the garden that leads straight into the woods and up towards the falls for walking.
Windermere is about ten minutes by car. Grasmere is maybe fifteen. The whole area is basically for walking. If you want a day out, National Trust Lake District has all the information you'd need.
In terms of what's here: there's a wood burner, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, I'm afraid.
