Fallbarrow Hall sleeps thirty-six people. It's eighteen bedrooms, seventeen bathrooms.
It’s a big, Victorian Gothic house, Grade II listed, right on the edge of Lake Windermere. Five-minute walk into Bowness. It's got its own garden and grounds, which are private.
Inside, it’s been renovated. The rooms are big, with high ceilings. It’s a five-star property, so it’s equipped to a high standard. There's a main kitchen, a big dining room, a library, and a TV lounge. There's also a games room with a pool table and table tennis, a cinema room, and a kids' den. There's a cocktail bar too.
Outside, the garden has views over the lake. You're on the edge of the Fallbarrow Holiday Park, so you can use their marina to get onto the water. There's also a restaurant on the park called The Willow.
Bowness is just down the road. It’s a proper tourist town, so there are plenty of shops, pubs, and restaurants. You can get the Windermere lake steamers from there to Ambleside or Lakeside. You can hire boats.
You're in the Lake District National Park, so walking and cycling routes start from the doorstep. For planning, the Lake District National Park Authority site is useful, as is the National Trust Lake District page for their properties nearby.
Facilities: parking, wifi, bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, highchair and cot available. You can bring up to four pets. It's a detached property.
