Fawn View is an apartment in Bowness. It's on the second floor of a block, but it's one of the bigger ones up there. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's been done up recently so everything's in good order.
You get allocated parking, which is useful as Bowness gets busy. There's a shortcut path into the town centre, about five minutes walk. All the pubs, shops and the lake are down there.
The apartment has a small balcony with a table and chairs. It gets the sun in the morning. Inside, the living room has a decent sized TV and there's another one in the main bedroom. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine.
The stairs up to the second floor are fine, but it is two flights. Something to know if you have lots of luggage or anyone with mobility issues.
From the apartment, it's about a ten minute walk down to Lake Windermere. You can get boat trips from there. For walking, you can start right from the door or drive a short way into the fells.
Places like Ambleside, Windermere town, and Hawkshead are within a twenty minute drive. Grizedale Forest is about twenty five minutes away for walking and cycling trails.

Facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, parking, cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
