This is Newstead. It's a big Victorian villa from 1897, between Windermere and Bowness. It sleeps twelve. Six bedrooms, all with their own bathroom.
The place is detached, so it's just you. There's parking. The garden is enclosed, it's got a patio with some seating.
Inside, it's set up for a big group. There's a big living room and a separate dining room with a large table. The kitchen is modern and has a small seating area. All the bedrooms are for two people, with either double or king-size beds. One bedroom is on the ground floor, the other five are upstairs.
You can walk into Windermere village in about five minutes. There are shops, pubs, and places to eat there. Bowness-on-Windermere and the lake are about a fifteen minute walk downhill. You can get on the boats from there.
By car, Ambleside is about ten minutes away. Grasmere is about fifteen minutes. Keswick is around thirty-five minutes. There are plenty of walks straight from the door.
Facilities: everything you'd expect is included. Washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, TV. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
