Broadberry Cottage is in Windermere. It's one in a row of stone cottages, set back from the main road. You get your own parking spot and a small patio out the back.
It's set over three floors. You come in on the middle floor to the living room. The kitchen is downstairs, which some people find odd, but it works. It's got everything you need. There's a bathroom on that floor too, with a bath and shower. Two bedrooms and another bathroom with a walk-in shower are upstairs.
It sleeps four, has two bathrooms, and it's a 4 Star place. It's clean and comfortable. You can bring one dog.
Queens Park is just a couple of minutes walk away. They've got a good café there. Windermere town centre is a short walk in the other direction for shops and pubs. Bowness-on-Windermere is about a mile down the hill. That's where you get the boats from. You can get the ferry across to Ambleside, or hire your own.
For walking, you're right in the middle of it. For other days out, Holker Hall and Gardens are about a half hour drive. The National Trust and Lake District National Park sites are useful for planning.
It's got a woodburning stove, WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, and all the bedding and towels are included. It can be decorated for Christmas if you book for then.
