Four Seasons is a cottage in Cowan Head in Cumbria. It's end-terrace. The main thing is it's right next to the River Kent. You can see it from most windows.
It sleeps five, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which is decent. There's a wood burner in the living room for colder nights. The garden is small but usable.
You're basically on the Dales Way. You can walk right from the door into Staveley village. There's a shop about half a mile away, and a pub and restaurant are a mile and a half.
It's a good spot for getting around. Windermere and Bowness are about a ten minute drive. Ambleside is about fifteen minutes. Kendal is also close, maybe ten minutes in the other direction. For a longer day out, Keswick or the Langdales are roughly half an hour.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, parking on site, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
For planning: Lake District National Park and National Trust Lake District.
