Raven House
Raven House is on a regular street in Kendal. It’s a three-storey stone house.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s a 4 Star property. That means it’s well-finished and comfortable.
The living room has an Art-Nouveau fireplace and a smart TV. The dining room has a table for six and some board games. The kitchen is at the back. It has a coffee machine and a dishwasher.
There’s a twin room and a king room on the first floor. The main bathroom and the master bedroom are on the second floor. The master has a super king bed. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a separate roll-top bath.
You’re about a five minute walk from the town centre. There’s a local pub 176 yards away. There’s also a craft beer taproom, a pizza van, and a few small workshops nearby on the same street.
Kendal is good for shops and cafes. The market is on a Saturday. The Lake District National Park starts just outside town. You can be on a fell walk in under ten minutes by car.
Within half an hour you can get to Windermere, or over to the Yorkshire Dales. The Ingleton waterfall walk is about 25 minutes drive. The coast at Morecambe Bay is about 40 minutes.
The house has a small garden out the back with a patio and a BBQ. There’s bike storage. Parking is on the street, usually right outside.
