Farleton View is in Summerlands. It's a detached cottage. You can see the hill called Farleton Knott from the front. That's where the name came from.
It sleeps six, has three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The layout is a bit different. You come in downstairs into a boot room, which is handy. The main living space is upstairs to get the views. The kitchen and living room are on that first floor. The bedrooms are up another small flight of stairs at the back, overlooking the garden.
The garden is yours to use. There's parking on the drive. It's got a woodburning stove, wifi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
The local shop is about a mile and a quarter away. The nearest pub is a mile and a half. There's a restaurant two miles away.
You're in a good spot for getting out. It's about a 30 minute drive to get into the Lake District proper, to places like Windermere. Kendal is closer. If you go north, you can get to the edge of the Yorkshire Dales or up towards Hadrian's Wall country. South, you've got the Westmorland Dales. Morecambe Bay and the coast at Arnside are also within half an hour or so.
