Hillview

This is Hillview. It's in Millness, which is just outside of the Lake District National Park. It's a bungalow, so it's all on one level, which is helpful for some people.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which feels about right. It's all been redone recently.

The main living room is cosy, with a wood burner. It's got a Smart TV. You'll find the kitchen through there. It's got a dishwasher and washing machine. There's a big conservatory across the courtyard, which is a decent extra room.

The garden is out the back. It's got a lawn, a patio, and a table and chairs. There's a barbecue and a wood-fired hot tub out there.

We're in a small hamlet. There's a pub you can walk to down the road. The motorway junction is less than ten minutes away, so it's easy to get to, which is good if you're coming up for a short break.

For walks, you can get to the Lancaster Canal Towpath in five minutes by car. You can also walk from the door. The Lake District National Park is about a 20 minute drive, and the Yorkshire Dales National Park is about the same in the other direction. Kendal is 20 minutes away for shops, and Windermere is half an hour.

In terms of things here: there's parking for a couple of cars, an electric car charger, bedding and towels are provided, there's a cot and highchair. WiFi. No pets sorry.
