The Cottage At Breeze Hill
The Cottage at Breeze Hill is in Carr Bank, near Arnside. It’s attached to our bungalow, but it’s all your own space. We’re next door. It’s up a bit of a hill, so you get a good view out over the fields.
It’s a bungalow, so everything’s on one level which is handy. Sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one with a big king size bed that can be made into twins if you need it, and one with twin beds. The bathroom is nice, has both a bath and a walk-in shower. There’s a separate toilet off the hall as well.
You’ve got a good sized kitchen with a table, and the living room is through another door. There’s a Smart TV with Netflix and a PlayStation 4 there if that’s your thing. Off the kitchen there’s a sun room at the back. It’s a lovely spot to sit. That looks over our private garden, which we sometimes use, but we’ll leave you to it.
Outside the front is a patio with a table and a BBQ. You can park one car on the drive. We’ve got an electric vehicle charger you can use.
The place is rated 4 Star. It’s comfortable and well-equipped. There’s a washing machine, dishwasher, and we include all the bedding and towels. A cot and highchair are here if you need them.
You can bring one dog. If they’re a sofa dog, we’d ask you to use your own blanket on it. There’s a porch area handy for cleaning muddy paws before they come right in.
Location wise, you’re in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Arnside village is a short drive down the hill. It’s a small place with a couple of pubs, cafes, and a very good chip shop. You can eat them on the pier. The local nursery garden centre is good for a poke around and has a café.
Arnside Knott is close by for walking, with great views over Morecambe Bay. For a swim, the caravan park in Silverdale has a pool and sauna you can pay to use. Levens Hall, with its topiary gardens, is about 20 minutes’ drive.
You’re well placed for the Lakes. Bowness and Windermere are about half an hour’s drive. The Yorkshire Dales, like Kirkby Lonsdale, are about the same distance the other way. Morecambe and Lancaster are also within 30 minutes.
