Silverdale Apartment is in Meathop. It's a first-floor flat in what was a big country house. The house is up on a bit of a hill so the views from your windows are good, out over the trees towards Morecambe Bay and the hills. It looks south.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star property, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. You'll find it clean and tidy.
The house is on the edge of a Caravan Club touring park. It's very well-kept grounds, about ten acres. The park is quiet. You might see caravans coming and going, but they're not right on top of you.
There's a pub that does food about five minutes' walk away. The nearest proper shop is in Grange-over-Sands, a little seaside town about three miles west. It's gentle, with some nice shops and a promenade.
You're well-placed for getting about. Windermere is about 20 minutes by car. You can be in the heart of the Lakes quickly, but you're also on the southern edge, which is a bit quieter.
Local things to see include Cartmel Priory, which is a lovely village with a famous racecourse and sticky toffee pudding. Holker Hall, Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall are all within easy reach if you like grand houses and gardens.
What you get: your own patio space, a washing machine, a TV, parking right there. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
