Arnside Apartment
Arnside Apartment is up on the first floor. It's part of a big old house, like a manor house. We've got about ten acres of land here. It looks south, so you get good light and you can see right across to Morecambe Bay and the hills on the other side. It's very quiet.
It's just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The house has been converted into six places altogether, so there are other guests around, but it's spread out. It's managed by the Club and it's on the edge of their touring caravan park, which is always kept very neat.
There's a pub that does food about 400 yards down the lane. The nearest proper shop is in Grange-over-Sands, about three miles away. You're about 20 minutes by car from Windermere, so it's a good spot if you want to see the Lakes but not be right in the middle of it all.
Locally, Cartmel Priory is worth a look. Holker Hall and Sizergh Castle are both close. Grange-over-Sands is a nice little seaside town. Good for a walk along the front, a round of golf, or some shopping.
For facilities, it's got a washing machine, a TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. The entrance and the shower are wheelchair friendly, and there are grab rails fitted.
