Baycliff Apartment
Baycliff Apartment is in Meathop, near Grange-over-Sands. It's on the first floor of a big converted country house. You get great views from up there, south over the fields towards the sea.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms and has one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's part of a small, tidy caravan park site, so the grounds are well kept. There are a few other holiday lets in the same building.
The local pub is about 400 yards away and does food. The nearest shop is in Grange, three miles away. Grange-over-Sands is a nice, quiet seaside place. You can walk along the promenade there.
You're about 20 minutes' drive from Windermere, so it's a good spot for seeing the southern Lakes without being right in the middle of it all. Cartmel Priory is very close, and you've got Holker Hall, Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall all nearby if you like grand houses and gardens.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, a cot and highchair if needed, bedding and towels are included, and you can park on site. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
