Underhill Cottage
This is Underhill Cottage in Arnside. It’s a three-bedroom cottage with one bathroom, and it sleeps five. It’s got a 3 Star rating, so it’s clean and comfortable.
The layout is a bit different. The living room, kitchen, and dining room are on the ground floor. Then you go upstairs to the three bedrooms, the bathroom, and the conservatory. The conservatory gets the evening sun.
The stairs inside are quite steep and narrow, just to let you know. And while the main entrance is wheelchair accessible, the inside isn’t really set up for it because of the stairs.
You can bring up to two pets. They can’t go upstairs, and the garden is enclosed. There’s parking for one car on the drive.
Arnside itself is really handy. The seafront is a minute’s walk away. There’s a shop and a pub about the same distance. The train station is close too. You can get a train to Grange-over-Sands or Cartmel. Cartmel is known for its sticky toffee pudding.
For walks, you’re in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The beach and the coastal path are right there. If you drive, you can get to Windermere or the Yorkshire Dales National Park in about half an hour. The Lake District National Park is on the doorstep too.
The cottage has WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included.
