8 Lowther Gardens is an apartment in Grange over Sands. It's on the first floor, and there's a ground floor hallway you use first for coats and shoes. You can fit a couple of bikes in there if you need to.
It sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable without being luxurious. The stairs up to the apartment are a standard flight.
The place is quite spacious inside. Both bedrooms are a good size with built-in wardrobes. The bathroom has a bath and a separate shower cubicle, and there's a second toilet just across the landing. The kitchen has a washing machine and a small breakfast table. The living room is bright.
Grange itself is a quiet, old-fashioned sort of place on the edge of Morecambe Bay. There's a nice promenade to walk along, and some good ornamental gardens. It's a decent spot for birdwatching.
You're well placed for the Southern Lakes. Lake Windermere is about twenty minutes by car. You can get to Grizedale Forest for walking or mountain biking in under half an hour. Cartmel is close by for the races or just the village. Holker Hall is nearby too.
Facilities: parking on site, WiFi included, bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
