Station Cottage
Station Cottage is on The Row, right by Silverdale station. It's a two up, two down end terrace, so one side is detached. Sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main thing is, you can see the trains from the living room and the small courtyard out the back. It's a quiet line, only a few an hour. You get a kitchen, a living and dining area, and parking on site.
Everything's been refurbished. There's a king size bed in the main room and two singles in the other. The bathroom has an electric shower. We provide bedding and towels. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi.
The village shop and the Railway Inn pub are a few minutes' walk away. The pub does food. You can be on the beach, like Jenny Brown's Point, in about ten minutes on foot. Morecambe is a short drive or train ride away.
If you like walking or birdwatching, you're right next to RSPB Leighton Moss and the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Silverdale Golf Club is just down the road.
The train station is literally outside. You can get the train to Morecambe, Lancaster, or into the Lakes without using the car. It's about half an hour to Windermere by train. If you're driving, Grange-over-Sands and Cartmel are about twenty minutes away.
No pets, sorry. We can provide a highchair if you need one.
