Kent View Apartment
Kent View Apartment is in Meathop. It's a first floor apartment in a big converted country house. The house is on a bit of a hill, so the views are good. You look south over fields all the way to the sea sometimes. It's on the edge of a Caravan Club touring park, which is always kept very tidy.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The main room is open plan.
You've got your own patio area. There's parking right there. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine. One well-behaved dog is allowed. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The local pub is about a five minute walk. They do food. The nearest shop is in Grange-over-Sands, about three miles away.
You're about 20 minutes by car from Windermere. It's a good spot for seeing the southern lakes without being right in the middle of it all. Cartmel village is close, with the priory and the racecourse. For a day out, Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall are nearby. Holker Hall is just along the road too.
Grange-over-Sands is a nice little seaside town a few miles west. It's got a promenade, some shops, and a golf course.
If you're planning to walk, the Lake District National Park site has all the maps and routes. For the wider area, Visit Cumbria is useful.
