The Coach House
The Coach House is a barn conversion on our farm in Yealand Redmayne. It's in the Arnside and Silverdale National Landscape, south of the Lakes.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The layout is open plan downstairs, which works well. There are beams and stone walls from the original building.
Upstairs there's a double and a twin room, and the bathroom. The third bedroom is up another flight of stairs. It's a super king bed, but we can make it twins if you ask beforehand.
You get your own parking for two cars and a patio with a barbecue. The farmyard has white doves and swallows nest here in summer.
Out the front there's a big enclosed field everyone shares. It's got swings and a climbing frame for kids, a trampoline, and a space for ball games. There's also a separate bit for dogs to run, and a fire pit you can use. We've got some friendly miniature pigs, goats, sheep, and chickens you can say hello to. The hens provide eggs.
The RSPB Leighton Moss reserve is five minutes away by car. There are lots of other good walks from the door. The National Trust looks after several local spots.
It's about half an hour to Lake Windermere if you fancy a trip. Lancaster, Kendal, and Morecambe are all within a 30 minute drive too.
Inside, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. We take up to two dogs.
