Marina View
Marina View is in Tewitfield, on the Lancaster Canal. It's a modern holiday home on a small development. The main thing is the view of the marina from the lounge.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. One is an en-suite shower room off the main bedroom. It has a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable.
Downstairs is all open plan: kitchen, dining area, and lounge. Doors lead out to a terrace. You can sit inside and watch the narrowboats on the marina. There's a smart TV and WiFi.
There's parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.
You can walk along the canal towpath to Carnforth, which takes about 40 minutes. Carnforth has supermarkets, pubs, and takeaways. Right across the main road is Greenlands Farm Village. They have a farm shop, a café, and some craft shops.
The Longlands Hotel is next to the marina and does food. You can fish in the canal.
For days out, it's well connected. Morecambe and its beach are about 20 minutes by car one way. Lancaster is about the same in the other direction. The Lake District is roughly half an hour's drive north. The Yorkshire Dales are also within easy reach, maybe 40 minutes.
