Storrs Croft is in Arkholme, north Lancashire. It's detached, so no neighbours through the walls. The views are good, front and back. Just fields.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which helps. It's got a 5 Star rating. Everything's in good order.
The kitchen is open plan with a dining area. It's modern and it's where everyone tends to end up. You can see the fields from there too.
The shop and the nearest pub are about two miles away in the village. Kirkby Lonsdale is a nice market town, about six miles. It's got supermarkets, proper butchers, pubs and cafes. The view from St Mary's church, Ruskin's View, is worth seeing.
You're well placed for getting out. The Yorkshire Dales are on your doorstep. The Lake District is maybe half an hour's drive to the coast at Grange-over-Sands or into Windermere. The Forest of Bowland is about the same. Lancaster and Morecambe are within twenty minutes.
If you like walking, it's all around. For something specific, the RSPB at Leighton Moss is about ten miles. The Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is close. For a day out, National Trust Yorkshire Dales has good information.
Facilities: It's got a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi. There's parking. The garden is enclosed. You can bring one dog. We provide bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
