Storrs Croft is in Arkholme. It's a detached bungalow, so no stairs to worry about. The views are good, out over fields at the front and back.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is an ensuite. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well-finished and comfortable. You can bring one dog.
The kitchen is the main room, it's big and open. You can sit at the table and look out. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've got a dog or kids. Parking is on the drive.
For facilities, you've got the basics covered: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The local shop and pub are in the village, about two miles away. For a bigger town, Kirkby Lonsdale is about six miles. It's a nice market town with supermarkets, decent pubs and a few shops.
You're in a good spot for getting out. It's about half an hour to the edge of the Lake District, or into the Yorkshire Dales. The Forest of Bowland is also close. Leighton Moss RSPB reserve is about a twenty minute drive if you like birdwatching.
If you're after walks, the Yorkshire Dales National Park and Lake District National Park websites have good route ideas.
