Rye Meadows
Rye Meadows is a penthouse apartment in Overtown, Lancashire. It's part of The Meadows development. The main thing you get here is the view. Big picture windows look straight out over the Lune Valley. It's all fields and sky.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
You're on the edge of Kirkby Lonsdale. It's about a ten minute walk into the town centre. Good pubs, a few restaurants, some nice independent shops. Everything you need is there.
The apartment is over two floors. The stairs inside are a normal, modern staircase. There's a little seating area on the gallery landing where you can sit and look out over the ornamental pond. It's a quiet spot.
Kirkby Lonsdale is a good base. The Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is a short drive away. For bigger days out, both the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Lake District National Park are within a 30 minute drive. You can be in Kendal or Settle in about half an hour.
Facilities are all there: parking on site, WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher. There's a shared indoor swimming pool and gym in the development you can use. The patio area is yours to use, it's a small, private space.
