Gallaber Cottage
Gallaber Cottage is in Burton in Lonsdale, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. It's a barn conversion, attached to our house on the farm. It's up a bit of a slope, so the views are good. On a clear day you can see Ingleborough and sometimes the Lake District hills.
It's for four people. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's cosy and clean. The layout is open plan downstairs.
You're on a working farm, so you'll see sheep and hear the usual farm noises. There's an enclosed garden area for you. The parking is right by the cottage.
There's a shop about a mile away in the village. For more choice, Ingleton is three miles. They've got shops, pubs, and cafes. The Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is there too. It's a good walk.
You're right on the border here, so Lancashire and Cumbria are on your doorstep. The Yorkshire Dales are obviously right there. Settle is about a 20 minute drive, and you can get the train from there. The Forest of Bowland is about half an hour away. If you head into Cumbria, Kirkby Lonsdale is about 15 minutes by car.
Inside, there's a washing machine, TV, and Wi-Fi. All the bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
