Inglenook Cottage
Inglenook Cottage is on the main street in Ingleton. It's a three storey stone cottage, end of terrace. You can walk to everything in the village. The back looks out over fields and the church.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It was all renovated recently, so everything works and is clean. The stairs are steep and turn a corner. That's just how it is in these old places.
There's a boot room by the front door. Good for dumping coats, boots, or muddy dogs. There's an outside tap there too for washing things off.
Upstairs is the main living area. It's open plan, kitchen and sitting room together. The windows are big so you get the view. There's a small balcony off it. The bathroom on that floor has a separate shower and a roll-top bath.
You get a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a cot if you need it. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two dogs.
In the village, there's a good bakery. A few pubs that do food. There's an outdoor swimming pool that's open in summer, and a climbing wall. The main thing people come for is the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. It starts in the village.
You're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. For a longer drive, the Forest of Bowland, Morecambe Bay, or even the Lake District are all within an hour.
