Inglenook Cottage is in Ingleton village. It's end-terrace, built into the hillside, so the front door is on the middle floor. The main living room is actually upstairs from there.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One is a proper en-suite off the main bedroom. The other, on the living floor, has a big roll-top bath and a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything inside is new.
The stairs are a bit steep, as you'd expect. There's a small balcony off the living room, west-facing, so you get the evening sun. You can see the church from there.
Down from the front door is a good-sized boot room. It's tiled, with a washing machine and space for bikes and muddy boots. There's an outside tap round the side. You can bring two dogs.
Ingleton itself has what you need. Shops, a few pubs that do food, a bakery. There's an outdoor swimming pool in the village, plus a climbing wall and a play area by the river.
The main thing here is the walking. The Ingleton Waterfalls Trail starts in the village. White Scar Cave is just up the road. You're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
For a day out, you can drive up to Settle, or over to the Forest of Bowland. Morecambe Bay and the Lakes are under an hour away.
Facilities: all the bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi, a Smart TV, dishwasher, washing machine. We've put a cot in there too.
