New House Cottage
New House Cottage is in Overtown, Lancashire. It's a detached cottage next to a farmhouse you can also rent. There's parking right outside.
It sleeps six. Two bedrooms, both with king-sized beds, but one also has two singles in it. Two bathrooms, one upstairs and one on the ground floor.
The main thing inside is the space and light. The hall ceiling is double height. The kitchen is big, with a table in it, and it leads into a dining room. There's a conservatory off the back which gets the sun and has a view over the fields. The stairs are a normal flight.
The cottage has a 4 Star rating. It's fully wheelchair accessible at the entrance and through the ground floor.
Outside, there's a private garden. You can bring up to two dogs.
For things to do, you're in a good spot for getting out. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is about 20 minutes east. Morecambe Bay is about 25 minutes west. You can even get to the southern edge of the Lake District in under half an hour.
Closer by, Ingleton is worth a visit for the Waterfalls Trail. The White Scar Cave is just north of there. Carnforth has shops and supermarkets.
Facilities: everything you'd expect is included. WiFi, bedding, towels, washing machine, dishwasher. There's a cot and highchair if needed.
