The Snug
The Snug is a one bedroom cottage in Kirkby Lonsdale. It sleeps two. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. It's Grade II listed and quite small, which is normal for here.
Inside, there's a living room with a wood burner. The kitchen has what you need: a toaster, microwave, that sort of thing. The bedroom has a king size bed with a good Hypnos mattress. There's one bathroom.
Outside is a small, enclosed area with a table and two chairs. It catches the sun in the morning. You're right in the oldest part of town. The front door opens onto the street.
Location is the main thing. You can walk to everything in Kirkby Lonsdale in two minutes. There are pubs, shops, restaurants, a Booths supermarket. Market day is Thursday. Ruskin's View and the walk down to Devil's Bridge are a few minutes away on foot.
You're between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. Both are about a 20-30 minute drive to get into properly. It's a straightforward base for walking or sightseeing.
Facilities: there's a wood burner, TV, WiFi, and parking for one car is included. Bedding and towels are provided. No pets, sorry.
