Greta Cottage is in Ingleton, in the Yorkshire Dales. It's a stone cottage right by the River Greta. You'll hear the water.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable but not huge, so it's good for a couple or a small family. The stairs are fairly steep, like most old cottages.
The layout is open plan downstairs. There's a wood burner, which is nice in the evening. The kitchen has what you need. Upstairs, the main bedroom looks out over the river.
Ingleton is a proper walking village. The famous Waterfalls Walk starts about five minutes away. Ingleborough is right there if you want to tackle one of the Three Peaks. There's a good pub about 350 yards from the cottage, and a few other places to eat.
If you drive, White Scar Cave is just outside the village. The Settle-Carlisle railway line is close by. You can see Ribblehead viaduct in about ten minutes. Hawes and Settle are both within half an hour. The Yorkshire Dales National Park site has walking routes. For steam train times, it's best to check the Settle-Carlisle Railway site directly.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and a small garden area. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car. No pets, sorry.
