Greta Cottage
This is Greta Cottage in Ingleton. It's a two-up two-down stone cottage right on the river Greta. You get the sound of the water running past outside.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well looked after. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they turn and are a bit steep.
It's open plan downstairs. There's a wood burning stove, which is nice in the evening. The kitchen has what you need. Upstairs, the main bedroom looks out over the river.
You're right in the village. The nearest pub is a few minutes walk. Ingleton itself is good for walkers. The waterfall walk starts in the village. Ingleborough is right there if you want to climb it.
Within about half an hour you can drive to Settle or Hawes. The Settle-Carlisle railway is close, you can see the trains go over Ribblehead viaduct. White Scar Caves are just outside the village. The Yorkshire Dales National Park site has walking routes.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. There's a small patio area. No pets, sorry.
