Number 3 is a stone cottage on the edge of Clapham. It's part of a barn conversion, so it's a terrace. There's parking right in front, and you have your own garden out the back.
It sleeps three people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and comfortable. The cottage is a few hundred yards from the railway station. You can probably hear a train now and again if you listen for it.
The village centre has a pub and a shop. There's a good farm shop about a mile away, sells local stuff and does coffee. The famous Settle to Carlisle railway runs through here. You can drive to the station, or sometimes you can flag the train down at Clapham station itself.
For walking, you're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Ingleborough is close. For caves, the Ingleton waterfalls and White Scar Cave are popular and about a 15 minute drive. Settle and Skipton are both under half an hour away by car. Kirkby Lonsdale is about 20 minutes.
Facilities: there's WiFi, a washing machine, a TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. If you need space for more people, you can book this cottage together with Number 6 next door.
