Holme House

Holme House is in Eldroth. It's attached to our place, but you have your own door and the whole garden to yourselves. It's down a private track so it's quiet. You just see fields.

It sleeps six in three bedrooms. Two bathrooms, which is handy. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's been checked for quality. Everything's in good order.

The kitchen is a good size with a big table. There's a room off the back with big doors that open onto the patio. The garden's large and enclosed. There's a bit of play equipment for kids out there.

Two of the bedrooms have king size beds. One of them has a ceiling you can make look like stars. The main bathroom has both a big shower and a separate bath.

There are two wood burning stoves, one in the living room and one in the kitchen. We leave you some logs to start with. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. All the bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside.

Eldroth is small. For a pub or shop, you'll need to drive to Settle. It's about three miles. Settle has banks, a supermarket, and a few places to eat.

You're on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales here. It's good walking country straight from the door. The Forest of Bowland is also close. Yorkshire Dales National Park and Forest of Bowland have walking routes and information. For a bigger day out, the Lake District is under an hour's drive.

Skipton, Lancaster, and Kirkby Lonsdale are all within about half an hour by car if you want to explore towns.

No pets, I'm afraid.
