The Dalesbred Hut
The Dalesbred Hut is a shepherds hut on our farm in Rathmell. It's just for two people. You're up a private lane so it feels quite secluded, with views over the fields.
It's a 4 Star place, which means it's well kitted out. There's one room that's open plan, with the bed at one end and a little kitchen area. The bathroom is separate, with a walk-in shower. Everything is on the ground floor. It has a woodburning stove for colder evenings.
Outside, there's a table and chairs for your bit of the garden, and a BBQ. You can park two cars right there.
We're a working sheep and beef farm, so you'll see animals about. You're on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, right on the Ribble Way footpath if you want to walk straight from the door.
Settle is the nearest proper town, about ten minutes by car. It's got shops, pubs, and a train station. Skipton is a bit further, maybe twenty-five minutes. If you're driving out, you can get to Malham Cove and the Ribblehead Viaduct in under half an hour. The Three Peaks area is close by too.
Everything like bedding and towels is included. There's wifi and a TV. We can provide a cot and highchair if needed. No pets, sorry.
If you're coming with more people, there are two other identical huts next to this one, so you can book them all together.
