Cromwell House

Cromwell House is a first floor apartment in Long Preston. That's the village just before you get into Settle proper if you're coming from the south. It's a new build, finished in 2021.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. The bedroom has a king size bed. Everything's open plan, so the kitchen, living area, and dining table are all in one room. It's been done to a good standard. The rating is 4 Star, which feels about right.

Outside, there's a patio at the back with a hot tub. You look out over fields. It's a quiet spot.

You're on the very edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park here. You can walk straight out of the door onto footpaths. There's a pub in the village you can walk to as well.

Settle is a couple of minutes drive. It's a proper little market town with cafes, shops, and a few places to eat. Skipton is about 20 minutes away. That's bigger, with the castle and the market. For a bigger day out, the Three Peaks area, Malham Cove, and National Trust places like Brimham Rocks are all within half an hour or so.

Facilities wise: there's parking, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's also a cot if you need it.
