The Grange Holiday Home is in Hellifield. It’s part of a courtyard with a couple of other barn conversions next to our main house. You get your own garden, which is enclosed and lawned.
The place sleeps five. There are three bedrooms upstairs: one double, another double, and a single room. The master double has space for an extra bed if you need it. There are two bathrooms, one upstairs with a shower. Downstairs, there’s a utility room with a boot area and another shower and toilet, which is handy if you’re using the hot tub.
The living room is a good size with a fireplace and a smart TV. The kitchen is a farmhouse style with a big table. French doors from the kitchen lead out to the garden patio.
Hellifield’s a small village. There’s a local pub that does food, about a five minute walk away. There’s a butcher, a café, and a few shops. The railway station is interesting if you like that sort of thing, it's Victorian. They have a platform café and sometimes steam trains stop.
You’re right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Gargrave, Settle, and Skipton are all close by for shopping or cafes. For walks, Gordale Scar and Janet’s Foss are about a 20 minute drive. It's a popular area for the Three Peaks challenge if that’s what you’re into.
Facilities wise: the hot tub is in the garden. There’s parking, WiFi, a washing machine in the utility room, and storage for bikes. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
