Cherry Cottage
This is Cherry Cottage in Gargrave. It's a two-up two-down on the edge of the village, overlooking the river Aire. It sleeps three, with a king-sized bed in one room and a single in the other. One bathroom with a shower cubicle. It has a 4 Star rating.
The living room is open plan with a wood burner. The kitchen is a decent size. The stairs are okay, normal for a cottage. The garden is private, with a table and chairs. It's got shrubs and a little barrel pond with a frog in it. There's a shed for bikes.
Parking for one car on site. If you have more than one, there's a car park a short walk away in the village.
Gargrave has what you need: a few pubs, a shop, a fish and chip shop. The Pennine Way goes right through it. Skipton is about ten minutes by car. You're on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park here.
Bolton Abbey and Malham Cove are within half an hour. So is the Broughton Hall Estate. The road west goes straight into the Dales, or up towards the Lake District.
Facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, washing machine, bedding and towels included. The entrance is step-free. No pets.
