Cherry Cottage is in Gargrave village. It's on the very edge of the village, so your view from the front is straight out to fields and the River Aire. You get a private garden out the back.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one bathroom upstairs. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs are a standard cottage staircase, so they're a bit steep.
The cottage is all on one level once you're inside, so it's suitable if you have mobility issues or just don't want steps. There's parking for one car right outside. You can fit two bikes in the shed.
The garden is completely private. It's got a table and chairs, lots of plants, and a small half-barrel pond. There's usually a frog living in it.
In the village, you're a few minutes' walk from three pubs, a restaurant, a shop, and a fish and chip shop. The Pennine Way footpath goes right through Gargrave.
Skipton is about five minutes away by car. That's where you'll find the big supermarket, the castle, and the market.
You're right on the border of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Malham Cove is about a 20-minute drive. Bolton Abbey is about 15 minutes. For a longer day out, you can get to the Lake District in just over an hour.
It has a wood burner, wifi, TV, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
