Ivy Cottage is in Skipton. It's a terraced house on a little street that doesn't get any traffic. It looks out over some grounds to the grammar school.
It's a 10 minute walk into the town centre. Skipton's a proper market town. The castle is good. The high street has the market and some decent shops and places to eat. They've got a swimming pool and tennis courts too.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and everything works, but don't expect anything flash. The street is quiet, which is nice.
There's a pub about 400 yards away, and a shop is even closer. You can bring one dog.
For things to do, you're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. It's about 15 minutes in the car to get into proper walking country. You can walk from the door too, along the canal. It's flat that way.
Harrogate and the Bronte Parsonage in Haworth are both within half an hour's drive if you fancied a trip out.
Facilities: you've got a small garden out the back with a barbecue. Parking is on-site. There's wifi, a TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
