Ivy Cottage

Ivy Cottage is in Skipton. It's a terraced house in a little row that's closed off to traffic. The view is over the grounds to the grammar school. It's about a ten minute walk into the town centre.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious. The stairs are steep, just so you know. It's an old cottage.

You can bring up to two dogs, but please keep them downstairs.

There's a back garden with a patio, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Everything's included, like wifi, bedding, and towels. There's parking right outside.

Skipton's a good market town. The castle is worth a visit, and the high street has a market days. There's a pool and tennis courts. A shop is a couple of minutes walk away, and a pub is about five minutes.

You're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales here. It's about a twenty minute drive up to Grassington, which is a lovely little village. Malham Cove and Janet's Foss are maybe half an hour away, good for walks. The Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust site has walking ideas. For local history, English Heritage has Kiplin Hall not too far off.
