Ash Grove is in Skipton. It's up a narrow cobbled lane, about five minutes walk from the high street. It's an end of terrace cottage.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom, and parking on site. The place has a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished. It's clean and comfortable.
The stairs inside are cottage stairs. They're fine, but they're steep in places and a bit narrow. Something to be aware of.
You get a small private courtyard at the back with a table. There's also a shared garden at the front, which is enclosed. It's handy if you've got kids. One well-behaved pet is allowed.
Skipton itself is a proper market town. The castle is worth a visit. There's a market, shops, pubs, and cafes. The canal runs right through. You can walk along it, or even hire a boat for the day.
You're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Good walking straight from the door. For a drive, York is about an hour south. The southern Lakes, around Kendal, are about 45 minutes northwest.
In the house, there's a wood burner in the living room, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
