Dales Retreat

Dales Retreat is a cottage in Skipton. It's a terraced house on a normal street, not out in a field somewhere. You get a small patio out the back.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's been comfortably done up inside. It's open plan downstairs. There's a wood burner but you probably won't need it unless it's really cold. The stairs are normal.

You're about two minutes from the high street. There's a pub 175 yards away that does food. Skipton's got the castle, the canal, and the market. The market's on most days.

For walking, you're right on the edge of the Dales. Yorkshire Dales National Park is the main one. Malham Cove and Gordale Scar are about a 20 minute drive. Bolton Abbey is about 15 minutes away.

Inside, it's got what you'd expect. Washing machine, WiFi, TV. There's a downstairs loo as well as the main bathroom. It's wheelchair friendly at the entrance but it's a standard terraced house layout inside.

Parking is on the street. It's usually fine but you might have to walk a short way. There's a paid car park in town if you get stuck.
