Dales Retreat is in Skipton. It's an end-terrace cottage on a quiet street, about three minutes walk from the high street.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's been done up to a good standard. It’s modern inside. The stairs are normal.
The layout is open plan downstairs, with the kitchen and living area together. There's a sofa, a wood burner, and French doors out to the back. The kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, and a fridge-freezer. There's a separate utility room with a washing machine and a downstairs loo.
Upstairs are two double bedrooms and a third bedroom with bunk beds. The bathroom has a shower. Bedding and towels are included.
Outside, there's a raised patio area at the back with a table and chairs. Parking is on the street nearby, or you can use the town car parks.
The location is the main thing. You can walk into Skipton in a few minutes. There's a pub about 175 yards away. The town has all the usual shops, markets, cafes, and restaurants.
For getting out, you're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. You can drive into the National Park in no time. Bolton Abbey is about a ten-minute drive. The Three Peaks area is within half an hour.
